We're in "beta" mode while we are conducting our valuable initial research.  Please pardon our out-of-the-box design!

Make The Argument  is dedicated to the simple proposition that most of the problems that plague the US today are the results of the federal government’s disobedience to the Constitution.

Further, we believe that the best way to fix this problem is that concerned citizens should learn to make the argument themselves, effectively and confidently winning over their neighbors.

The only hope of getting the nation to vote wisely is in getting them to diagnose the problems correctly.  Hence, our aim to help you, the people, to

Make the Argument!

MakeTheArgument.org is being built in order to give US citizens some new tools with which to convince their peers that we need to restore our federal government to a strict obedience to our Constitution.  Many are eager for such a movement to take hold, yet no particular plan to insure the success of such a movement has yet become preeminent.

The back-to-the-Constitution theme is certainly not new, and yet it has languished for decades without ever maturing, and without ever managing to overcome the efforts of the political establishment and the press to pretend it doesn’t really exist.  Meanwhile, adherents to this general philosophy are more often than not coaxed by a counter-productive sense of pragmatism into focusing more on the immediate election cycle than on winning over the minds of this generation as to the great wisdom of our Constitution.  As a sad result, the back-to-the-Constitution movement generally falls short of a successful movement of principle, deferring instead to being closer to a movement of personality---following one leader for a time, and then another.

But meanwhile, the vicious political cycle goes on, and the Constitution is disobeyed by our federal government more than ever.

The recent campaign of Ron Paul has raised the hopes of many as his is also amongst the purest of constitutional restorationist philosophies ever; it is consistent and reasonable and without prejudice for tradition.  Yet it looks unlikely at this point that Dr. Paul will be elected in November, and this eventually underscores all the more the need for a viable and persistent movement to take hold---as opposed to a knee-jerk and sullen retreat for the next three-or-so years.

It is with just such a movement in view that Make The Argument is being built.  But this is no desperate attempt to “just do something”!  Instead, it is being designed to be a calculated, measured, and long-term response to the facts of the current situation.  And that’s where you come in.

We have developed two important surveys aimed at getting Ron Paul supporters to share their opinions and ideas on where we ought to go from here.  One is comprehensive, and the other is very short.  After analyzing the survey results, we intend to invent whatever tools and resources prove necessary to help the people build such a movement right from their own home towns.  The surveys are some of the most open-ended ones you'll ever take, as they give you many opportunities to comment freely.  It will probably take you about half an hour to complete the long one, and as few as 2 minutes on the short one---depending on how many thoughts you'd like to share along the way.  While the comprehensive survey requires a greater investment of time than most survey makers will ask of any audience, the cause is certainly more worthy than most.  And we feel confident that you, of all people, will understand the value of that investment.  It is an investment in our future.  So please take the surveys, and please invite all your fellow Ron Paul supporters to do the same!  You may opt in at the “Get updates” link on the upper right of this page if you would like to receive the results of this survey once they are tabulated.

Both the surveys will open in a new window.

Also, we've just added a 4-question survey (on 11 June 2008) that you can complete in just a few minutes.  It analyzes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to the Revolution.
